Never heard of one? We are not surprised! This 1976 Excalibur Phaeton Series III is a super super rare hand built car out in Wisconsin, USA, this is NOT a kit car but a "Modern Classic" at the time of production based heavily on the Classic 1928 Mercedes SSK.
This particular car is 1 of 173 Hand built. Originally imported to Australia in 2008 and then sold to the current Owner in 2013,
Big Block 454 V8 Chevrolet engine under that beautifully hand crafted bonnet with Chevrolet Running gear.
Kept by the last owner for 13 years and has been fanatically maintained during his ownership as a light vehicle mechanic with a passion for this car.
Turbo 400 Automatic Transmission.
Factory Hard & Soft tops to come with vehicle
Door Covers so it can be driven in the wet
An aray of spare parts to come with the car for the new owner.
In July 2024 the vehicle had a Cylinder Head overhaul with New Double Valve springs, pushrods and new Lock nuts, New Dizzy, New fuel pump.
